We are a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association and an IBEW Local 343 union shop. This allows us to draw from a skilled labor pool at any time a project warrants. Kestner Electric currently has 22 full time employees and all the tools and equipment required for a minor or major electrical installation. We have an in house safety program with a monthly meeting for all employees. This gives us a chance to review different topics and discuss any new safety concerns. It also is used as a type of round table meeting where any job related problems can be addressed to improve efficiency and save time. We have an excellent safety record. We are also a certified U.L. 508A Industrial Control Panel shop and can provide locally manufactured U.L. listed and labeled custom control panels of any size. Some of our long term clients include Hormel Food's, Quality Pork Processors, Select Food's and Austin Packaging. Hormel Food's Electric Review Conducted January 15, 2004 - It was written that the "Austin Plant states that you are the best contractor they have in the facility". Over a dozen projects were included in this review. Quality Pork Processors - Kestner Electric provides four electronics - electricians with one electrician on duty for all three shifts doing electrical construction, maintenance and troubleshooting.
